Our neighborhood school, Lakeshore
Elementary, is located at 711 Lake Street. This beautiful setting is
adjacent to Half Moon Lake and at the base of the east entrance to
Carson Park. The student population is very diverse, and the staff
provides a strong literacy program which aims to create critical
thinkers and responsible participants in our community. The
partnership coordinator, Deb Lewis, is a member of our steering
committee and our monthly meetings are held the second Thursday of the month, excluding summer, in the school library.
Deb keeps us “up to date” and focused on supporting Lakeshore's
